What Twin Cities Families & Ministries Say

Real Google reviews, pulled in live.

The Church Picnic Playbook

The best church picnics run on a simple truth: when the kids are happy, the grown-ups linger — and lingering is the whole point. Planning a festival or VBS week instead? See all church events →

Finished picnic setup as the congregation exits
The After-Service Flip

We stage the lawn while you worship. The benediction ends, the doors open, and the congregation walks out to a finished picnic — no gap for anyone to drift to the parking lot.

Toddler corner next to the picnic tables
The Littles Corner

A toddler unit beside the tables means young parents actually finish a plate and a conversation. It's the corner that decides how long families stay.

Water slide as the kids zone anchor at a picnic
The Summer Anchor

One big unit the whole lawn can see — a water slide in July, a giant combo in September. Kids orbit it for hours; the potluck line finally has time to move.

Park pavilion picnic with inflatables
The Park Pavilion Picnic

Renting a shelter at a metro park? We deliver, coordinate placement, and can add the park district as additional insured — the paperwork most parks require, handled.

Tent shading the potluck at a church picnic
The Shade Tent

Tents over the potluck tables keep the food, the elders, and the conversation out of the sun — the most-thanked rental at every July picnic.

Sno-cone machine at a church picnic
The Sno-Cone Line

Popcorn, cotton candy, sno-cones — the line that gives every kid a mission and every teen volunteer a station. Fair warning: it will outdraw the dessert table.

The Stuff Your Hospitality Team Will Ask About

A picnic for the whole congregation is a real production wrapped in a casual name. Here's how we make our part boring — in a good way.

Insurance & permits, handledFull general liability coverage. We add your church, diocese, or property insurer as additional insured and deliver the certificate within 48 hours of booking.
Power, planned in advanceWe need standard 110V outlets within 100 feet of each unit. Lawn or lot with no power? We bring generators (added cost) — just tell us when you book.
Staged during the serviceWe confirm the setup window against your service times and stage everything while you worship — quietly, and ready before the doors open. Park picnics: send the park and shelter number; we coordinate delivery and placement.
Volunteers stay optionalEvent packages include trained attendants who run the units and enforce the rules — your hospitality team hosts, greets, and eats, which is the entire point of a picnic.

How It Works

1 Check your date

Tap "Check Availability," pick your units, or just call. Summer picnic Sundays go 3–6 months out.

2 We handle the paperwork

COI to your church office (or the park district) within 48 hours, layout planned for your lawn or pavilion, setup timed to your service.

3 We deliver, set up & staff

On time, before your event starts — even between services. Event packages include trained attendants at the units all day.

4 Kids jump, you fellowship

When the last table's folded, we tear down and haul away. Your team returns nothing — and next year's picnic just became a tradition.

Questions Hospitality Teams Ask

Yes. We carry full general liability insurance and can add your church, diocese, or property insurer as an additional insured — and for park picnics, we can name the park district. Delivered within 48 hours of booking.
Not with our event packages — trained Jump City attendants manage the units, enforce safety rules, and handle any issues. Your hospitality team hosts and fellowships instead of guarding equipment.
Yes — that's the classic picnic booking. We confirm the window against your service times and stage everything quietly during worship, so the congregation walks out to a finished picnic.
Yes — we deliver to parks across the Twin Cities metro. Send us the park name and shelter number when you book; we'll coordinate placement and timing, and the COI can name the park district if the permit requires it.
Absolutely — a water slide is the July picnic headliner. Put a towel note in the bulletin, pair it with a dry unit for cycling, and we'll place it where runoff won't find the potluck.
If severe weather makes setup unsafe, we reschedule at no additional charge — or shift to your fellowship hall with indoor-friendly units. Deposits are fully refundable or transferable if the event is canceled entirely.
Summer Sundays are the heart of picnic season — book 3–6 months ahead, especially for June and July. Inside 30 days? Call (763) 355-1023; we may still have availability.
